Following the presentation of its “Ba-Tic” collection as well as a high-profile collaboration with British streetwear champs, Palace, C.P. Company has now unveiled an all-new Spring/Summer 2023 collection: a revitalized edition of its historical Urban Protection range, the “Metropolis Series.”

The collection as a whole takes inspiration from the exploration of the classic Metropolis jacket — a classic staple that’s been a part of C.P.’s “Urban Protection” range since 1999 — and it approaches fashion through a technically-focused lens as the vast majority of styles come packed with an assemblage of pockets and heavy-duty zippers.

Additionally, the collection also focuses on the use of performance-driven fabrics alongside industrial manufacturing techniques that represent C.P. Company’s approach to inner-city agility in the early 2000s. With this in mind, the collection highlights a selection of raincoats, jackets, and tops that boast a series of hidden seams and buttons.

Further pushing the idea of technically-focused luxury throughout, “Metropolis” also welcomes GORE-TEX fabrication work alongside breathable and lightweight fabrics — such as Infinium — that are complemented by water-resistant seams across all the outerwear and exploration pieces.

You can take a closer look at the new collection from C.P. Company above and it is available on the brand’s official website now.
