After announcing the return of the classic 1999 “Gold Bullet” colorway, Nike now reveals an alternate “Metallic Gold” Air Max 97 iteration. Additional gold-tone colorways set to emerge include the “Koi” and “M. Frank Rudy” iterations.

The upcoming pairs arrive in a mix of mesh and gloss leather materials featuring 3M accents, embroidered gold Swooshes on the lateral cutouts, and contrast-stitched pull tabs secured on the heels. Black hues are used on the mesh tongue and leather tongue tabs while thick sole units feature clear full-length air units.

Take an official look at the Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” above and look for the pairs to release on Nike’s website and select retailers in the coming weeks for $185 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, AURALEE x New Balance 2002R collab receives release date.
