Apple iPhone 15 Ultra Will Reportedly Replace Next Year's Pro Max Model
Potentially arriving with USB-C ports.
Following news that Apple‘s Dynamic Island will be expanding to the entire iPhone 15 family, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman now reports that the company may be rebranding its largest and most expensive phone to iPhone 15 Ultra, departing from the previous Pro Max designation.
Since 2019, Apple has used “Pro” and “Pro Max” labels for its higher-end phones. The use of Ultra would align the labeling with the Apple Watch line which now sells an Ultra model. Aside from the return of Dynamic Island, Gurman predicts that the new iPhone 15 will feature a USB-C port, partially in response to the new EU law requiring smartphones made after 2024 to have the new connectors.
In the near future, Apple users can expect the arrival of the Apple Pay Later feature allowing buyers to split transactions into four installments as well as the potential launch of new Mac Minis, Macbook Pros, and iPad Pro models before the end of the year.
