BSTN and Autry Buckle Up for 01 Low Collaboration

Autry, the tennis-centric footwear brand based Stateside, is back from the ’80s with a bang. With its resurgence that came for Fall/Winter 2021 to the roster of sleek styles that dropped in April, the brand has made a big comeback as it continues to appear on the feet of sneakerheads around the globe — and now BSTN grabs a slice of the action with its Autry Action Shoes collaboration.

Dubbed the BSTN x Autry 01 Low, this inclusive style appears in sizes for men and women and comes in a “White/Orange” colorway, evocative of the retro undertones that permeate Autry’s identity. Buttery-smooth off-white leather makes up the majority of the shoe, with contrasting panels like the perforated toe box and tongue appearing in leather as well. Aside from this, corduroy cotton has been applied to the mid-panels to split the shoe into its retro shape and sections, while orange leather works the heel tabs.

Here, BSTN adds its signature in embroidered blue thread, matching the navy blue leather interior of the sneaker. Echoing the vintage aesthetic is a foam-padded tongue, while Autry detailing on the mid-panel window and heel round the immediate detailing off, with a special mustang logo embossed onto the rear quarter alongside the collaboration’s signature claim, “Advantage South,” subsequently completing the pair.
