Randomevent and Mizuno Collide for Baseball-Inspired FW22 Collection

Following its collaborations with Reebok and Gramicci earlier this year, Randomevent partners with Mizuno for a collection of apparel and footwear centered around the baseball-inspired theme of “IT’S BOTTOM OF THE 9TH.” Referencing the final moments of the last inning, Randomevent interprets the strong feelings of competition through an attitude that “encourages people to always have the faith to win and the drive to move forward even in the face of adversity,” the brand writes in a statement.

The FW22 capsule showcases a range of elevated athleisure, incorporating green scoreboard motifs as well as powder lines and earth tones which symbolize elements of the baseball field. Highlighted in the lookbook are waffle-knit sweaters, logo-patch sweatsuits, varsity jackets in seersucker and leather, and clouded hoodies. Rounding out the collection are new co-branded Wave Solar marathon runners dressed in patent leather, mesh, and suede with a scoreboard-branded velcro strap and speckled laces.

The Randomevent x Mizuno apparel collection will be available via Mizuno August 22 and on Randomevent’s online store from August 26. The new Wave Solar sneakers will be offered via raffle on Mizuno’s website September 26.
