Strap in, as Prada has just dropped a trio of sporty sandals fit for summer. Designed under Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada‘s joint creative direction, the luxury house presents two sets of sandals — one made from padded Nappa leather, and another serving a sportier aesthetic thanks to its mix of leather and nylon tape.

Kicking off with the Nappa pairs, we find the sandal in “Black” or “White” colorways and both are fitted with a clean amount of branding, marking its presence on the lateral front-quarter strap and on the insole. Per the brand, “These sporty sandals are the perfect expression of Prada’s ‘traveling man,’ for whom sophisticated tones and a sporty design mix in a new aesthetic dialogue.” And indeed they are sporty, as the pair receives a sole unit taken from Prada’s Cloudbust Thunder, thus giving the sandal a chunky, lugged attitude that’ll make the silhouette more versatile come fall and winter.

As for the black sporty leather and nylon tape sandals, Prada presents a more understated tone that’s accentuated by the brand’s signature metal clip and nylon straps. Leather makes a subtle appearance, predominantly working the inner-angle straps, while nylon adds a tactile edge to the flatter-soled pair. Here, the only addition of Prada branding can be found on the insole, stamped in the house’s silver block cap font.

Prada’s padded Nappa sandals retail for $1,220 USD, while the sporty nylon-equipped pair come in at $895 USD. Check out all three above, and purchase them online now.
