For the Air Max 97’s Silver jubilee celebration, Nike will be re-introducing a variety of notable pairs that already have sneakerheads far and wide eager for a chance to purchase. The Japanese bullet train-inspired silhouette will also be receiving numerous playful makeovers including a Korean homage and a Koi fish rendition.

Following early reports of the forthcoming Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” reissue to come in November, the sportswear giant is now set to combine two classic offerings into one. Merging the “Neon” and “Atlantic Blue” colorways, the shoe arrives with a silver 3M mesh base, along with black mudguards, pull tabs, and tongue emblems. Cool blue-toned design lines wrap the upper, while lively “Voltage Yellow” branding decorates the heel tabs and Nike Swooshes on the oval tongue tags and medial windows.

Down under, white midsoles are complete with full-length Air sole units that reveal further neon detailing.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Atlantic Blue” is set to launch via Nike and select retailers worldwide for $185 USD on August 23.

Elsewhere in footwear, Kanye’s adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 “Pepper” and “Mist” have restocked.
