When introducing or re-introducing a silhouette to the market, New Balance‘s strategy has been consistently formulaic. First, it will filter the silhouette through a collaborative partner to generate excitement over the model and then. it will gradually build out its inline catalog. This has rung true for the New Balance 90/60 which was crafted alongside Joe Freshgoods back in May 2022, and now it’s returning to center stage to unveil a GR “Black/Castlerock” colorway.
A stealthy presentation is put on display for this newest makeup. Materials utilized on the upper half include breathable mesh and sultry suede overlays. Both alternate across the base between “Black” and “Castlerock” hues while pops of red are shown on the tongue 9060-branded badges that rest on the tongues. Down below, the sole unit is chiseled with an aggressive aesthetic, and this comes fitted muted neutral tones to keep the top and bottoms uniform.
Peep a closer look at the pair above, and parties interested in picking up a pair can find retailers like Asphalt Gold dropping them on September 3 for €179 (approx. $178 USD).
