London jeweler, The Great Frog and Dr. Martens have teamed up to execute a collection designed for the rebels and outlaws of society. The two brands share a common rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic and have been worn by legends for years. The jewelry company has been crafting handmade items since 1972, and has been seen on the likes of Metallica’s Cliff Burton, Led Zeppelin, Skepta, Jay-Z and more. With their extensive rock history, the collaboration with Dr. Martens is definitely most fitting.

Featuring two new boots, the 1460 TGF and the Jadon TGF, are both embellished with metal hardware to enhance Dr. Martens’ signature silhouette. Starting with the 1460 TGF, one can see recognizable styling from the Original 1460 8-eye, but the latest version of the boot is elevated with custom silver detailing. It’s built from supple black Oily Illusion leather with a The Great Frog branded deboss on the outside quarter and features eyelets with branded brush silver. Additionally, the tongue is punched with a brushed silver rivet with laces that are fitted with a crossbones charm. To finish the look, it’s built on a smoke DMS outsole and secured with yellow welt stitching.

The Jadon TGF is a rendition of the classic platform boot that has been worn by rock musicians around the world. It includes the same black Oily Illusion as well as a fitted custom harness with deboss branded straps to nail the punk-inspired look. The boot is also decorated with silver buckles, studs and a zipper with a custom crossbones pull. Designed for maximum impact, it stands on a towering 2” Quad Retro sole and yellow welt stitch detailing.

The collection drops in August on the Dr. Martens website.
