Shin Sanbongi's adidas Campus ADV Unveils a Deep Green Underlayer
The team rider receives his second adidas collaboration.

Team rider Shin Sanbongi made his adidas Skateboarding debut in 2020, joining forces with the skate division to introduce his first collaboration on the Matchbreak Super. The Japanese skater ensured that the vulcanised skate shoe provided the utmost comfort and durability on and off the board by including Adituff toe caps and gum rubber outsoles for increased grip.
Now, Sanbongi has returned to the adidas roster with his second collaborative issue. Delivered with a playful twist, he has selected the Campus ADV which blends his love for skateboarding and football together into one delightful bundle.
The pair has been styled with a black leather upper, complemented with hints of “Collegiate Green” that hit the replaced 80s tongues, back tabs and Three Stripes stitching at the sides. Its construction is equipped with wear-away technology, revealing deep green underlays through time.
Tonal deco-stitching can be found at the forefoot and heels, conveying inspirations from classic adidas football boots such as the world-class Copa Mundial. “SANBONGI” branding sees silver detailing at the medials, while co-branded tongue tags feature an illustration of the rider’s grinning face. Finally, handwritten liners read “Have Fun” in Japanese and the shoe is complete with black rubber outsoles.
The adidas Campus ADV x Shin Sanbongi is set to release via the adidas Confirmed app and select retailers on August 20 for $90 USD.
