After videos spread of Kid Cudi walking off stage at Rolling Loud Miami 2022, organizers of the event issued a statement supporting the artist’s decision. Taking to Twitter, Rolling Loud wrote, “Rolling Loud is a family. Our fans, the artists, and everyone involved need to look out for each other. Share the love and be respectful to everyone.” Finishing the positive message with “We love you, Cudi. Please take care of each other and let’s have an amazing day 2!”

Kid Cudi stepped in as the Day 1 headliner for Rolling Loud Miami 2022, replacing Kanye West, who canceled his performance with no explanation. Fans in attendance at the festival were not happy with the last-minute replacement, chanting “Kanye” and throwing objects at Cudi during his set.

Eventually, a clearly frustrated Cudi stopped his performance to warn the crowd that he would leave, adding to his statement by saying he would leave if another “thing” was thrown on stage. Just as he finished speaking a water bottle was thrown on stage and Cudi walked off stage ending his performance to the disappointment of many fans.

A video has now surfaced online of the person that threw the bottle that made Kid Cudi leave. The video pans to show the bottle that was thrown land on stage and the person reveling in his action, as the crowd around them voices their displeasure.

Watch the video of the person that threw the bottle that made Kid Cudi walk off stage and catch Rolling Loud’s statement regarding what happened at Rolling Loud Miami 2022.
