Back for 2022, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants recently presented its list of the lauded eateries for the year. Holding its award ceremony at the Old Billingsgate market in London, the list crowned Copenhagen’s Geranium the world’s best restaurant for 2022. Coming in shortly behind was Central in Lima, Peru and Disfrutar in Barcelona, Spain which respectively took the second and third places.

Maintaining its strong showing, the Asia region saw seven restaurants land on the list. Though South America continued to stake its claim on the list with Lima’s Mayta coming in at 32nd and Rio de Janeiro’s Oteques ranking 47th.
