'Sailor Moon' Delivers a Magical Take on Vans' Old Skool Overt CC
Featuring Usagi Tsukino’s transformation brooch.
After revealing an expansive joint collection earlier this month, Vans and Sailor Moon join forces once again for a special take on the Vans Old Skool Overt CC silhouette. The offerings join other recent collaborations which include CASETIFY and Taipei’s EasyCard.
The upcoming pairs feature a suede base with checkerboard leather panels on the toe and eyestays. The show’s Japanese title is embroidered in pink on the leather heel counter and Sailor Moon’s bowtie is found in black with the popular character’s metallic transformation brooch in place of traditional laces. Additional details include Sailor Moon and Luna character graphics across the laterals and series motifs along the canvas tongue tab. Rounding out the design are pink Vans off the Wall logos on the tongue tabs, graphic insoles and, and two-tone black and pink platform sole units.
