Manchester City's 2022/23 Away Kit Arrives in Red and Black Stripes
A tribute to the heritage of the Club.
PUMA has recently unveiled its 2022/23 Manchester City Away kit, which features a seamless design to tribute to the heritage of the Club.
The away kit takes inspiration from the triumphant at the 1969 FA Cup Final and the 1970 League Cup and European Cup Winner’s final, in which Manchester City wore red and black verticle stripes. Conceived by the legendary Malcolm Alliso, the team debuted the away kit yesterday during their pre-season friend game against Club America, in which City won 2-1 following two goals from Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
The new jersey arrives in two iterations—a replica version and an authentic version, featuring PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology. The replica version is made from 100% polyester. In contrast, the authentic version is made with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric, which is said to be the lightest and most comfortable fabric PUMA has ever made.
The 2022/23 Manchester City Away kit is available globally at PUMA stores, PUMA’s official website, the City store at the Ethiad Stadium Store, Manchester City’s official website, and select retailers worldwide.
