Last month, iconic rock band Grateful Dead teamed up with Los Angeles-based eyewear brand AKILA on two styles. Now, the duo has come back together for a second collaborative collection that features classic Grateful Dead detailing.

First, the Ares arrives with 13-point lightning bolts at each end and “Steal Your Face” skull plaques on the hinges. Color options include black, havana and concrete. The Miracle serves as the second silhouette included. Its shape is that of a teardrop aviator and features tie-dye inspired gradient lenses with custom temple cores engraved with the Dead’s iconic lightning bolt and roses. For the Miracle, black, gradient havana and champagne are the colorways offered. Each pair comes with customized packaging and a lens cloth that features Bertha and Dancing Bears artworks. Lastly, a tree is planted for each pair sold in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects.

The latest Grateful Dead x AKILA installment is available now via AKILA. For those interested, the Ares is priced at $160 USD and the Miracle is available for $140 USD. Take a closer look at the collection above.

Elsewhere in the world of fashion, Drake’s OVO label has connected again with the Toronto Raptors for an “Off Court Essentials” capsule collection that is available for purchase now.
