New Balance has been on the top of its game these past few years. Between tasteful collaborations and in-house designs, the American sportswear brand continues its winning streak with a women’s colorway of the popular 550 model.

Arriving in “White Scarlet,” the New Balance 550 starts with perforated white leather at the base of the upper. From here, soft pink suede and leather outfits the heel with the “NB” logo in white embroidery atop the heel counter. This dusty pink hits the toe and heel portion of the rubber outsole as well while a salmon pink accents this colorway on the suede toe overlay and 550 branding. Scarlet then completes the arrangement of colors as it outlines the classic “N” logo in white, covers the midfoot of the outsole, lands on some of the branding and arrives at the heel. This shade is also included on the colorway’s unique hearts at the heel and sockliner, completing what would be a fitting Valentine’s Day look.

While pairs of the New Balance 550 Women’s “White Scarlet” have started to pop up in Europe, a global release is expected to take place soon via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $120 USD.

In other footwear news, another Stray Rats x New Balance collaboration is on the way, featuring the MT580.
