PSG and Jordan Brand Are Cooking Up an Air Jordan 5 Low Collaboration
France’s flag is highlighted on the lace tips and mid-foot hangtags.
Jordan Brand and Paris Saint-Germain F.C. have a rich collaborative history of working on special projects that entail apparel and footwear. On the sneakers side, the two parties have crafted Parisian takes of the models like the Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 6 and more, and this year the duo is reuniting to present a joint Air Jordan 5 Low.
Early images of the pair have now surfaced onto HYPEBEAST‘s radar that allow us to view some of the shoe’s striking details. The France-inspired accents are subtly placed throughout the upper but act as the main attractions of the sneaker. The European country’s flag is infused into the lace tips as well as the on the hangtags that rest on the netted quarter panels, the latter of which is also supported by “paname” branding which is a nickname for Paris. Blue Jumpman logos on the tongues and bold red lace toggles also emphasize its PSG motif.
Elsewhere on the kicks you’ll find the overlays and collars supplied with a lighter beige hue while faded black accents spill onto the tongue and midsole pieces. Beige spikes with back speckles along with translucent treading string together its full fit.
Be on the lookout for these to hit retailers and Nike sometime within the months ahead.
