Jordan Brand has been tapping various creatives in the industry to give their own interpretations of the Air Jordan 36 Low. Thus far, we’ve seen photographer Cameron Look aka koolmac whip up a boba-inspired colorway and Crenshaw Skate Club’s Tobey McIntosh do his own rendition, and now Melody Ehsani has been tasked to cook up her own playful design.

The visionary designer and entrepreneur does not hold back on the decorations for this hardwood-ready colorway. Snakeskin patterns take the lead here and arrived perched up on the side panels, laces, tongues, heel straps and midsole molds and alternate between various shades of white, yellow, blue and beige. Hamsa hands arrive in two forms, the first being a gilded attachment atop the throat while the second is seen printed onto the outsoles as a symbol of protection from anything that doesn’t serve your purpose. Inside the shoes you’ll find the words “we stand on the shoulders of greats” printed to honor her ancestors. Furthermore, the tongues split their branding between a Jumpman on the right shoe and Ehsani’s signature “ME” logo on the left.

Boston CelticsJayson Tatum debuted the sneakers in warm-ups during Game 2 of the 2022 NBA Finals.
