KANGHYUK and Reebok Announce a Duo of Monochromatic Premier Road Modern Mids
Coming soon in “Black” and “Blue” colorways.
Reebok has its own division that focuses on special projects with luxury fashion houses and more elevated streetwear imprints, and one brand that will often appear through this initiative is KANGHYUK. The South Korean imprint last worked with the vector brand earlier this year in a Classic Leather collaboration, and now the duo is set to reprise their partnership with a two-piece Premier Road Modern Mid capsule.
For this collection, KANGHYUK fashions each iteration with full tonal color schemes. The first pair in this range certainly skews towards a Spring/Summer-appropriate appearance as it comes completely submerged in a baby blue hue. Its release sibling falls on the darker side of the spectrum and elects to be outfitted with an all-black look. Bulbous padded details are implemented around the ankle area, and they sit adjacent to a KANGHYUK logo that’s positioned on the heel. Midsoles come loaded up with a soft EVA foam build to supply wearers with a plushy ride.
Parties interested in copping can find the black pair available exclusively at Dover Street Market beginning June 23 before releasing via Reebok and KANGHYUK on June 25. The blue pair is slated for a July 1 release from select retailers, Reebok and KANGHYUK.
