Vivid color-blocking touches down on the chunky-soled dad shoe.

Kanye West continues to generate waves throughout the sneaker industry by staying consistent with his YEEZY footwear releases alongside adidas. And this Summer, the multi-hyphenate has intentions of dropping a cornucopia of new colorways, one being the adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “High-Res Red” that has just been revealed through official imagery.
West is widely known to pander toward earth-toned color combinations, so the vivid color-blocking that is exhibited on this specific installment is somewhat of a breath of fresh air for his signature line. The bold and bright tones stand out across the upper half, the most prominent being its titular shade with is responsible for landing on the mesh quarters and collars, tongues, suede heel panels and leather mid-foot overlays. Black suede overlays and gray toe boxes sit adjacent for smaller doses of grayscale accents. Below, the chunky midsole has been backdropped with a faded red tint while bursts of orange and teal hits fill in the various abstractly-shaped windows.
