Jordan Brand’s affinity for the Air Jordan 1 is no secret as the silhouette continues to receive plenty of makeovers year after year. Now, revisiting 2019’s Kentucky Derby inspired Air Jordan 1 High OG “Twist,” the brand has updated it with adjustments to its materials and color palette. The original colorway was the “Shoe of the Derby” and launched with the help of Kentucky-based boutique Oneness.

Staying true to its original form, the black overlays and Swooshes are once again found in a hairy form. The sole unit combo composed of the classic white Air Jordan 1 midsole and black outsole carries over from the first “Twist” colorway. However, this time the base of the upper utilizes a light gray leather rather than a white one. Lastly, the Wings logo pops at the collar as it looks to be a metal component attached to the shoe rather than being embroidered or stamped upon the upper.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Twist 2.0” is expected to hit shelves in women’s sizing December 22 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $180 USD.

In other Jordan Brand news, the Swoosh has shared official images of the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 SE ahead of its July 8 release.
