Joining a roster than includes Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten and more.

Puig is set to acquire Byredo, according to The Business of Fashion.
The forthcoming acquisition expands the catalog of the Spanish fashion and fragrance company, which houses brands like Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, COMME des GARÇONS Parfumes, Christian Louboutin and more. It is reported that Puig will take a majority stake in the brand, although the percentage is currently unknown. Although the exact value of the deal has yet to be released, it is suspected to hover around one billion euros (about $1.1 billion USD) due to reports of a potential sale to L’Oréal that listed the value.
Byredo was founded in Sweden by Ben Gorham in 2006. Since its inception, the brand has been recognized for its minimalist design and signature approach to unisex fragrances. With over 20 scents, some of the brand’s most popular scents are Gypsy Water, Mojave Ghost and Bal d’Afrique. In addition to fragrances, the brand also produces candles, makeup, body care and more.
