Official Images of the Nike Spark Flyknit
The sporty silhouette is fashioned with see-through mid-foot windows and a sock-like interior bootie.
Nike has made a name for itself over the years for producing some of the most iconic lifestyle silhouettes known to mankind, but every year, it’ll make strides to push the industry forward with the release of new footwear innovations. In 2022, the brand’s Nike Spark Flyknit is expected to debut, and after being teased via early imagery, a tan colorway’s official images have now emerged onto the scene.
As you can probably gather from its moniker, this upcoming creation is engineered with a Flyknit upper build. Its woven body is pieced together in a way that leaves the mid-foot slightly transparent so that you can view a tiny Swoosh logo and it splits towards the heel to show parts of the inner bootie. Two-toned embroidered Swooshes are also positioned on the medial side’s toe area. Down below, the sole piece is sculpted with a futuristic feel and is reminiscent of Nike ISPA‘s forward-thinking design language. A smaller-sized Swoosh is situated towards the rear, and a spring plate is crammed between two types of foam. This cushioning is believed to be Nike’s new Spark system, but this has yet to be confirmed by the brand.
