Five Stores within the GCC to Grab the Best Sneakers and Streetwear

Looking into the streetwear and sneaker culture in the Middle East, one can see an exponential growth within the past few years. The cities are now booming with self-expressing individuals who look forward to global and local drops and collaborations. Hours of queues outside adidas stores, raffles for the latest Nike Dunks and constantly sold out Jordans says a lot about where the culture is and where it’s headed.

However, looking at direct retail stores is only one means of copping the latest drops. The HYPEBEAST team has put together a list of stores available within the GCC that embrace the sneaker and streetwear culture and look to expand it further within the region.

Tucked inside a 1980s Art Deco building, Crowdless has established itself as a destination concept store in Jeddah. Since its launch in 2014, the store has been stocked with contemporary streetwear and lifestyle brands – both international and regional. Crowdless is curating streetwear culture in the Middle East through exclusive brand releases and collaborations and shares its space with international and local visitors.

Closet Case – UAE

With two stores based in Dubai, Closet Case has managed to secure some of the scene’s leading names to the region with apparel being their main focus alongside accessories, jewellery, eyewear, lifestyle goods and footwear.

The spot carries brands Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto, Boris Bidjan Saberi, Undercover, Juun.J and more as well as a recent expansion to its womenswear matrix.

Since its launch in 2014, Amongst Few has been one of the main drivers of street culture within the region.
