For the past two years, Louis Vuitton has continued its partnership with the NBA – launched under the inspiration of Virgil Abloh – releasing exclusive and athletic-infused items. For Spring/Summer 2022, the collaboration returns with its third installment, championing team spirit and camaraderie.

Unveiled in the latest campaign imagery for the drop, the collaboration highlights “The Christopher” backpack, “Dopp Kit,” “Pocket Organizer,” “Malle Courrier” and “Keepall 55,” all bearing the iconic blue, red and white colorways of the NBA logo, celebrating its 75th anniversary. Patterned underneath electric blue is the signature LV-embossed Monogram, highlighted by black overlay detailing, and the inclusion of a new basketball-shaped LV graphic decal. As well, the new “Keepall” features a unique side paneling of netted basketball hoop detail to help emphasize the thrill of the sport.

The campaign also includes the newly designed LV “Official Travel Trunk” to house the NBA’s Larry O’ Brien Trophy (redesigned by Tiffany & Co.). The trunk features heavyweight brass closures and fittings, a handpainted “V” – for victory – atop the constructed folding doors, along with the LV basketball-shaped logo and a microfiber lining.

Additionally, the house created a 2022 NBA Trophy Case, which buffers the brand’s history of developing “bespoke travel cases.”

More information on the new Louis Vuitton x NBA collection can be found on the brand’s website.

In other news, Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2023 show held a science-fiction element at its core.
