Future's "Wait For U" With Drake and Tems Debuts at No. 1

Future‘s “Wait For U,” featuring Drake and Tems, has debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 songs chart.

The track, which arrived on Future’s latest album, I Never Liked You, marks Tems‘ first No. 1, Future’s second and Drake‘s 10th, making Drizzy the first rapper in history to secure 10 No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. In its first week, “Wait For U” has secured 40.2 million streams, 7.9 million radio airplay audience impressions and 6,400 sold downloads, according to Billboard.

Aside from “Wait For U,” I Never Liked You tracks “I’m On One,” which also features Drake, and “Keep It Burning,” featuring Ye, landed at No. 11 and No. 15, respectively. Future earned his first No. 1 track last year via his appearance on Drake’s “Way 2 Sexy,” which also featured Young Thug.

Additionally, I Never Liked You debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, marking the rapper’s eighth No. 1 full-length entry. The record secured the largest debut for any album this year, moving 222,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Billboard.
