BOSS and PHIPPS have teamed up to create an eco-friendly capsule collection.

This marks BOSS’ first time collaborating with another designer. The genderless collaboration reflects each brand’s shared views of cultivating a more sustainable space within the fashion industry.

As such, it includes PHIPPS’ classic styles of technical mixed-material apparel, oversized t-shirts, and sweaters. The clothing is adorned with psychedelic tie-dye patterns and tongue-in-cheek slogans, such as, “Don’t Cross the BOSS.”

Pieces in the capsule take on shades of moss, taupe, and stone, with the addition of brighter lilac and aqua-blue tones reminiscent of nature, the capsule’s main inspiration. To further connect the shared ethos of PHIPPS and BOSS, some pieces show off a custom logo, displayed as a combination of each brand’s insignia along with an eagle symbol — a nod to the natural world and the vintage Americana essence of the collection.

Though BOSS and PHIPPS’ brand aesthetics may diverge, this collection unites the brands through championing their shared values. To put a spotlight on conscious practices, the collaboration employs innovative production methods, including the utilization of responsibly sourced textiles and leftover materials from the BOSS archives.

BOSS x PHIPPS will be available in BOSS Stores globally and online at hugoboss.com

In other sustainability news, Ulysse Nardin has dropped a dive watch consisting of upcycled materials.
