'Stranger Things' x Timex Watches Conceal Otherworldly Alterations
Dropping on the same day Season Four hits Netflix.
With season four of Stranger Things hitting Netflix today, Timex has created a trio of reimagined 1980’s classics inspired by the Upside Down.
The Timex x Stranger Thing Collection has trawled the Timex archive for three cult classics; the Timex Camper, Timex T80 and the Timex Atlantis.
“With the Timex x Stranger Things collection, two cult franchises join forces to create a capsule that is intrinsic to this pop culture moment,” says Shari Fabiani, Sr. Vice President Brand Marketing and Creative Services at Timex Group. “Through rich storytelling and ageless design, these special edition styles proudly resurrect one of history’s most expressive decades that transcends through all generations.”
The analogue Timex Camper – Lucas Sinclair wears an original in Season Four – inverts its Arabic numeral hour markers while a hidden Demogorgon image on its dial is only revealed by its INDIGLO backlight.
Both of the digital models, the T80 and Hopper’s favorite, the Atlantis, feature a customized alarm, which plays the Stranger Things melody, and a backwards number 3 when the watch displays 3pm.
The Timex x Stranger Things collection is available now via Timex, with each piece priced £80.
