Maison Margiela Tosses Its Replica Sneaker in Paper
Washed in shades of beige.

Maison Margiela’s Replica sneaker continues its cadence as one of the luxury market’s most popular silhouettes with a new iteration. Why the sneaker has been able to last so long is due to its constant reinvention of styles, while staying remaining true to its core design.
Washed in shades of beige, the sneaker has now been updated in a paper and scotch material. The unique fabrication features a crinkled effect alongside news-like detailing. Although the sneaker’s upper is comprised primarily of paper, the silhouette does include a leather lining and a rubber sole. Also on the sneaker is the classic numeral logo on the tongue and the signature Margiela stitch mark on the back.
Check out the gallery above for a look at the warm-toned iteration. Priced at $740 USD, the sneakers are available now online at Maison Margiela.
