Arsenal has unveiled its 2022/23 home kit, with adidas adding lightning bolts to the team’s signature colors for the upcoming season. Featuring the club’s classic red and white color palette, the kit also sports a new collar complete with lightning bolt, while the same graphic also runs across the red socks.

To launch the kit, Arsenal has showcased the community around the club and, in particular, the work of Arsenal in the Community. This campaign saw players visit people and places that make up the community, including Finsbury Park Bowls Club, Islington Boxing Club, Tufnell Park Primary School, Maha Devi Yoga Centre, New North Academy Fencing Club and North London United. Additionally £5 GBP from each kit bought directly through Arsenal will go to the club’s charitable foundation.

Launching the kit and the initiative, Freddie Hudson, Head of Arsenal in the Community, said:

“We’re extremely proud of the work we’ve been doing to bring our community together and support the lives of people in our local area for more than 35 years. People are the heartbeat of our community and the £5 donation from our home shirt sales will provide vital support for the local projects that serve our diverse community in north London so well.

The last couple of years have been especially tough and the impact continues to be felt, but it’s amazing what we can achieve when we all come together to support each other. We continue to draw inspiration from those who make the Arsenal family so special, and we’re thrilled to be able to give a little back in this unique way.”

The kit will be worn for the first time during Arsenal’s final home game of the season on May 22, and is available to buy now via the Arsenal Direct web store.
