Adidas Is Looking After the Skaters With Its New ADI2000
Designed to withstand the pressures of skateboarding.
Adidas is taking a nostalgic trip to the 2000s, referencing skate culture with its new ADI2000 sneaker.
By taking cues from its earliest skate silhouettes, this edition to the family welcomes a “Semi Solar Green,” “Cloud White” and “Gum” colorway, inspired by a blend of gaming and skate culture.
The sneaker integrates a number of fabrications into the fold, introducing a mesh upper with leather details. Its silhouette has also been tipped to be a regular-fitting one, while its textile lining adds a more robust feel, designed to withstand the pressures of the skate park. The green, black and white colors have been combined to give it a stand-out appearance while still being easily matched with more monochrome outfits. Rounding off the style, the lace closure keeps a clean look to prevent any
distractions on the board.
adidas’ ADI2000 sneaker can be seen above and is available on its official website now, costing £90 (approx. $120 USD).
