As the 2021/22 season reaches its conclusion, Liverpool has looked to the future and launched the home kit it will wear for the upcoming 2022/23 season. The Nike kit is inspired by the city and its population, with Liverpool’s classic red used for the jersey, shorts and socks.

The kit’s design is influenced by the city’s attitude of “Scouse solidarity” while other references to Liverpool include a new name and number style inspired by the historic street signs in the city. Lastly, intricate YNWA detailing appears on the sleeve cuffs, celebrating the team’s iconic anthem.

Launching the new jersey, Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, said:

“We’re all so proud to wear the Liverpool FC jersey and be part of the swoosh family. We know exactly what this jersey means to our fans, and we can’t wait to run out in it at Anfield.”

Produced using Nike’s 100% recycled polyester fabric — from recycled plastic bottles — and water-based dyes, the new home kit is available now from the Nike web store.
