Nike is set to introduce a new footwear model, a cross between the 2012 Flyknit Racer and the Air Max Pre-Day, dubbed the “Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer.” The initial offering arrives in a classic “Oreo” colorway, featuring lightweight and breathable Flyknit uppers taken from the Flyknit Racer and responsive Air unit midsoles drawn from the Pre-Day.

Upon further inspection, eye stays and heel counters are reinforced in matte leather materials with a reflective pull tab secured at the heels. Modern Nike Flyknit branding accents are featured on the tongue, and a Move to Zero Pinwheel logo is printed on the insoles, suggesting the use of recycled materials on the shoe. The tech-loaded Pre-Day sole unit is completed with black Nike Grind outsoles to round out the design.

Take an official look at the Nike Air Max Flyknit Racer “Oreo” above and expect the pairs to release in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere in footwear, Court orders MSCHF to halt sales of Tyga’s Wavy Baby sneakers.
