Wrangler Taps Fender for 75th-Anniversary Celebrations
A series of vintage denim and graphic tees.
Celebrating 75 years of cultural heritage a leading American denim brand, Wrangler taps guitar manufacturer Fender for a special-edition capsule built around lived-in black and blue denim worn by guitarists for decades. “Wrangler and Fender each have origin stories rooted in the creation of practical and functional products,” said Holly Wheeler, Wrangler’s vice president of global marketing. “As denim styles have evolved over the years through fits, finishes, and function, the driving role guitar-driven music has played in fashion is undeniable. We’re excited to have these two American icons join together to launch the Wrangler x Fender collection as we honor the artists and legends who have inspired us, and celebrate with the fans who have been moved by the music.”
Collaborative wares include a range of vintage-inspired graphic tees, flannels, and custom denim pieces with highlights that include fringe denim jackets, flared jeans with custom patch and stitching details, and cutoff denim vests.
Notable faces from the industry including rock ‘n roll progeny Georgia May Jagger, guitarist Orville Peck, and country artist Stephanie Quayle are invited to style the new collection.
The Wrangler x Fender Spring/Summer 2022 apparel capsule is now available at the Wrangler and Fender web stores, and a follow-up collection is set to arrive later this year featuring collaborative guitar accessories.
