Continuing the looks at the upcoming sacai x Nike Cortez, we now have an on-foot look at the continuation of Chitose Abe‘s collaborative partnership with Nike. Part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Cortez this year, the shoe was revealed alongside sacai’s Pre-Fall Women’s and Fall/Winter 2022 Men’s collections.

Utilizing the OG color blocking found on Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman‘s original design from 1972, the sacai x Nike Cortez features a mix of white, gray, red and blue. The uppers of the shoe feature a white leather base accented by gray suede overlays and red/blue accents. sacai’s signature stacked design with maximalist branding found on the shoe serves to decorate the design. Elevating the shoe are layered sole units marked by Zoom Air bubbles at the forefoot that continue the multicolor look.

Take a detailed look at the sacai x Nike Cortez expected to release later this year above.
