norda's Minimalist 001 All-Terrain Running Sneaker Lands at HBX
Choose from “White,” “Black,” or “Pebble.”

The emerging Canadian footwear label norda was introduced in 2021 after its founders Nicholas and Willamina Martire, alongside its footwear designer Louis Martin Tremblay and Creative Director Gerar Cleal, couldn’t find sneakers that satisfied their fit, cushion, grip, weight, breathability and material innovation requirements. As such, it made the norda 001, and now three colorways have landed at HBX.
While the “Black/White” iteration has been seen before, two new colorways have appeared. Ranging from a more street-ready “White/Gray” palette to the utilitarian “Pebble/Black” offering, the 001 comes kitted out in its unique Bio-Dyneema upper that’s lightweight, breathable, and fit for all kinds of conditions.
In fact, norda designed the 001 to be able to cope with Canada’s tough terrains, making a seamless upper that’s abrasion-resistant. The precision of laser-cut panels and hand-stitching makes for a tightly-concealed upper, while the Vibram outsole complements the tactile sneaker. Vibram made the sole unit exclusively for norda, leaning on its credentials to create a piece that can withstand the same terrains as the upper.
Naturally, the sneaker also comes fitted with reflective details so you can be seen in darker areas while running or trekking, while an added layer of Vibram Megagrip Litebase anti-slip outsoles offers further protection on the ground.
norda’s 001 sneaker is priced at $273 USD and can be bought from HBX now. Take a closer look at the pairs above.
