Liam Gallagher and adidas Spezial Reunite For LG II SPZL
Set to be unveiled at an intimate gig later this month.
Liam Gallagher and adidas Spezial are reuniting for Spring/Summer 2022 to release a collaborative take on the latter’s Barrington Smash silhouette, which is set to be unveiled at an intimate gig in Blackburn later this month.
The ex-Oasis frontman — who is a long-time friend of adidas Spezial founder Gary Aspden — first linked up with the brand in 2019 to release the minimalistic Padiham LG SPZL and now, following its success, the duo reconnects to launch the LG II SPZL.
“I’m glad to announce my new collaboration with Adidas Spezial,” said Gallagher of the collab. “It’s our take on the one and only Barrington Smash and it’s absolutely incredible. And if that’s not enough to blow your wig off, I’m going to be playing The King George’s Hall in Blackburn, Lancashire.”
The gig itself will be held at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall on April 27 and has been organised in partnership with Nightsafe, a charity supporting young homeless people in the area. Click here from 3pm (BST) on April 19 to be in with a chance of securing tickets.
