Jonathan Anderson Teases LOEWE x On Collaboration

Jonathan Anderson presented his LOEWE Fall/Winter 2022-23 womenswear collection earlier today at Paris Fashion Week, and while the spotlight was on his awkwardly beautiful and tension-filled gowns, a pair of sneakers on the designer’s feet were also the talk of the town — namely a collaboration between LOEWE and On.

The collaborative style is centered around On’s CloudTec cushioning system, which is made out of individual “clouds” strategically positioned along the sole unit to elevate your running experience. The technology reduces muscle fatigue and lowers heart rates, but the teased LOEWE collaboration is doing quite the opposite for fans of the brand.

Here, Anderson decks the shoes in a blue-centric colorway that transitions and fades between white, sky blue, and a richer blue towards the back of the shoe, before covering the lower section of the uppers in a bumper. On branding graces the medial mid-panel underneath the collar in orange, as well as on the tongue where it can be seen alongside LOEWE’s quadruple-L anagram logo.

Further LOEWE branding of the same kind can be seen in light orange on the lateral mid-panel, while the outsole is finished in white and blue, mixed together in a marbled effect. Rounding out the sneaker is a pair of gold eyelets at the top followed by holes running the length of the tongue, a hi-vis orange strap on the tongue, and lace aglets that read “Put me On.”

As per Jonathan Anderson’s Instagram upload, the LOEWE x On sneaker will debut online on March 9 and in LOEWE’s stores on March 10. Take a look at the pair on-foot above.
