Klay Thompson and NBA Top Shot Drop New "Game Recognize Game" NFT Pack
Inspired by 941 days Thompson endured in recovery before returning to the courts.
Golden State Warriors‘ very own sharpshooter Klay Thompson has officially partnered with Dapper Labs to launch his own curated set of NFTs.
Thompson has worked together with NBA Top Shot for an all-new curated 941-themed “Game Recognize Game” NFT pack. Slated to drop on April 7, the collection is named after the 941 days Thompson endured in recovery after sustaining two career-altering injuries. The 941 NFT pack features key moments selected by Thompson from other NBA big names like Derrick Rose, Paul George, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Zach LaVine and Gordon Howard – all of which have suffered serious injuries but have worked their way to get back on the court just as Thompson has.
In addition to the launch of his Top Shot collection, a lucky winner will be given the chance to win a pair of Thompson’s game-worn shoes, specifically from his comeback on January 9, 2022. Dapper Labs is also announcing a $94,100 USD donation in honor of Thompson to assist and support re-entry to the workplace for individuals from disadvantaged situations.
