Today, Ye released the music video for “Hurricane,” from his tenth studio album DONDAIn line with Ye’s caliber of creative visuals, the video for the GRAMMY-nominated song that features The Weeknd and Lil Baby is entirely CGI.

The video opens with a striking image of a beach-adjacent prison and a beam of light extending towards the sky, which are all being held up by a silver dragon. As The Weeknd sings, “Finally free, found the God in me/And I want you to see, I can walk on water/Thousand miles from shore, I can float on the water/Father, hold me close, don’t let me drown,” inmates dressed in monochromatic YEEZY clothing flee the prison towards the beach. The Weeknd and Lil Baby also appear in the music video as similarly dressed characters, while the surrounding people ascend to the sky near the light beam.

Other striking visuals include Jesus being baptized by the crowd before Ye later appears in a monochromatic ensemble with a vertical gold stripe on his face mask. As the song closes with “Father, hold me close, don’t let me drown/I know you won’t,” a black and white image of a natural disaster and a fallen American Flag closes the poignant visual.
