Take a First Look at Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna in Roku's 'Weird Al' Biopic
Starring alongside Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the titular role.
Evan Rachel Wood is channeling her inner “Material Girl” in Roku‘s upcoming Weird Al Yankovic biopic, sharing a first look of her portrayal of Madonna.
Both the actress and Rolling Stone unveiled the photo, which shows Wood sporting a lavender tulle skirt, a lace cardigan and fingerless gloves, a myriad of necklaces and bracelets — including the cross earrings — and her teased blonde hair with a black hairband. “The secret’s out! I am having WAY TOO MUCH FUN playing the iconic Madonna in @therokuchannel’s WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story with Daniel Radcliffe,” the actress wrote on Instagram.
The first look image arrives shortly after Roku also teased Daniel Radcliffe‘s transformation into Weird Al Yankovic, where he can be seen wearing a Hawaiian shirt, curly hair and glasses. Joining Radcliffe and Wood in the cast are The Office staple Rainn Wilson, Julianne Nicholson and Toby Huss.
