Adsum Heads Outdoors With New Merrell 1TRL MOAB 2 Collaboration
Inspired by year-round hiking on the Adirondack Mountains.
Brooklyn-based Adsum has followed up December’s Hut Moc release by reuniting with Merrell 1TRL for a second collaboration. The label has now reworked the MOAB 2, infusing the classic silhouette with outdoors influence and particular references to the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York.
The boot itself features a GORE-TEX waterproof breathable membrane for protection against all outdoor elements. The materials used mix natural and man made, with a focus on hard wearing textiles such as water repellent genuine leather and heavy duty oxford cloth. Other features of the MOAB include a protective toe cab, Vibram TC5+ outsole and a color palette designed to be improved with grass stains, brown dirt and dried water marks.
The Adsum x Merrell 1TRL MOAB 2 is available now from the Adsum web store, alongside a limited-edition T-shirt that pays tribute to the heritage of the silhouette.
