More than a year after Hulu‘s cancellation of High Fidelity, actress Zoë Kravitz reminded the network that canning the series was “a big mistake.”

In a recent interview with Elle, the 33-year-old actress doubled down on the comments she made about Hulu’s move. “They didn’t realize what that show was and what it could do,” Kravitz shared. “The amount of letters, DMs, people on the street, and women that look like us—like, that love for the show, it meant something to people. It was a big mistake.”

Upon the show’s cancellation, Kravitz took to social media to share her gratitude for the short-lived series. “I wanna give a shout out to my #highfidelity family,” she wrote on an instagram post. “Thank you for all the love and heart you put into this show. I’m in awe of all of you. And thank you to everyone who watched, loved and supported us. #breakupssuck.” In a reply to Tessa Thompson’s comment, Kravitz criticized Hulu for its lack of female leads. “It’s cool. At least Hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of color we can watch. Oh wait,” she wrote.

High Fidelity was a modern adaptation of Stephen Frears’ 2000 film, which starred John Cusack as record store owner Rob Gordon. Kravitz reimagined the role as Robyn “Rob” Brooks, and she was joined by Jake Lacy, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and David H. Holmes.

Kravitz will star as Selina Kyle in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu is in talks to join the cast of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
