'Shang-Chi' Star Simu Liu Joins Cast of Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' Movie
Starring alongside Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera.
Simu Liu is set to officially join the cast of Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie‘s Barbie film.
According to reports, the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star “is in negotiations” for an unspecified role. Liu will be starring alongside Robbie, who is portraying Barbie and producing, Ryan Gosling who is portraying Ken and America Ferrera. The plot is yet to be revealed.
The Barbie movie is written by director Gerwig and Noah Baumbach, while Tom Ackerley of Robbie’s LuckyChap banner, Mattel Films’ Robbie Brenner and Paddington’s David Heyman will all be producing.
