Wood Wood SS22 Voyages Into Outer Space

Wood Wood has unveiled its new Spring/Summer 2022 collection that is inspired by the vastness of outer space. To help bring this idea to life, the brand teamed up with British artist and musician, Jerkcurb to create a series of artwork that showcases trekking the unknown.
The collection is comprised of workwear, sportswear and subtle tailoring silhouettes that feature archaeological dress notes. Outerwear pieces like Wood Wood’s Bosco jacket have been updated with utilitarian pocket placements, while the Reno coat includes a back eyelet for enhanced ventilation. Cast in shades of beige and a warm plaid print, these pieces also include added sportswear qualities. Another focal point of the collection is the return of organic cotton denim that comes in rinse, heavy wash, olive and light sand washes.
Jerkcurb’s cartoonish artwork is illustrated on a goldenrod lambswool jacquard crewneck and cardigan. Other inserts of his work appear on jersey outwear pieces and more with embroidered detailing featuring eccentric creatures. Rounding out the collection are classic wide-leg pants, rust-colored nylon shorts, t-shirts and more.
