Richardson Presents Its Own Take On the Varsity Cult Uniform for SS22

Richardson Spring/Summer 2022 draws inspiration from the classic American collegiate varisty sports culture.

Specifically, this season takes design cues from the sport of football, relying on classic silhouettes of varsity jackets, and jerseys as the fundamental base for the collection. Richardson adds its unique touch to an American athletic staple for its A denim varsity jacket. With a denim body and buttons, the jacket also features chino twill sleeves and a rubber R box patch on the left sleeve. A double glyph graphic can also be seen on the reverse. Sticking with the denim theme, the collection also includes a denim cap accessory that also showcases the double glyph graphic and embroidered logo. The collection also sees a branded bucket hat.

The Richardson ‘98 football jersey is a nod to the brand’s inauguration in 1998. The jersey is accompanied by a pair of jersey shorts that feature the rubber R box square batch in black. Continuing the college sport iconography for the Richardson Cougar team, the Cougar Sweat series comes in a selection of t-shirts and crewneck sweaters in ash gray and balck colorways. The release also includes two plaid shirts in black and red, as well as a sleek, oversized black parka, hooded jacket with corduroy accents and technical pants with multiple pockets for both function and style.

The Richardson SS22 is available online at Richardsonshop starting on February 17.
