LEGO's Newest 'Jurassic Park' T. Rex Breakout Model Is Coming Soon
Releasing Spring 2022.
LEGO is gearing up for the release of a new build-and-display model. Ahead of the theatrical release of Jurassic World: Dominion, LEGO is bringing the world of Jurassic Park to fans’ homes with its latest Jurassic Park T. rex Breakout kit.
The model is inspired by the epic Jurassic Park movie scene. The posable T. rex can be seen stomping on a flipped, crushed Ford Explorer, a second Ford Explorer and a smashed “electric” fence. The model is equipped with miniature figures of Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, Tim Murphy and Lex Murphy, allowing fans to fully recreate the scene. A set of buildable night-vision goggles are also included in the set, along with a flare, two water glass elements and other references to the scene. One of the two Ford Explorers feature a buildable CD-ROM touch-screen monitor, as well.
The buildable model is 1,212 pieces and the full model measures over 6 inches in height, 23 inches in width and 8.5 inches deep. The Jurassic Park T. rex Breakout model retails for $99.99 USD and will be available starting on April 17, 2022 online at LEGO.
