Reservoir Joins Blake & Mortimer On An Adventure With 'By Jove'
The heroic duo originally appeared in Hergé’s Tintin.

Reservoir has dropped the first in a series of watches celebrating veteran comic book heroes Blake & Mortimer.
The adventurers originally debuted in the first weekly issue of Hergé’s Tintin in 1946 but are still going strong having sold 15 million copies over the years.
Reservoir has collaborated with Blake & Mortimer publisher, Dargaud, to produce the jumping hour “By Jove” which embraces Edgar P. Jacob’s graphic style and sees Blake indicate the minutes with his arm.
The power reserve indicator usually found on Reservoir pieces has been omitted to allow the dial illustration to make a bigger impact.
The 41.5mm brushed stainless steel case is mounted on a black leather strap with folding clasp while the caseback is engraved with a graphic of the Swordfish weapon taken from the books and the words “So British since 1946”.
Blake & Mortimer By Jove is available now via Reservoir retailers, priced $2,990 USD
In other watch news, Audemars Piguet spends $610,000 USD on original Royal Oak design.
