Mastermind WORLD Quietly Drops Converse Pro Leather Collaboration
Available at atmos Tokyo now.

Masaaki Homma‘s mastermind WORLD is no stranger to collaborations, and for the season of Spring/Summer 2022, it continues to evolve its relationship with Converse with another reworking of a classic, this time taking on the Pro Leather.
The two have previously come together on GORE-TEX-wrapped Jack Purcells, Vibram-fitted All Stars, and a special 100th anniversary pair back in 2008 — however, these were under the mastermind JAPAN label. These have all been well-thought-out collaborations, however, nothing has been as meticulously detailed as mastermind WORLD’s new Pro Leathers.
Sporting an upper made from black leather, the pair features silver leather details marking out the Pro Leather’s signature star and chevron detail alongside a tongue that’s finished with a leather lace loop wearing the Japanese brand’s emblematic skull logo. Further up the tongue you’ll find mastermind WORLD branding, as well as two metal studs embedded into the very top eyelets.
At the rear, silver leather appears once again, this time on the heels which are pressed with the aforementioned skull branding, while branded insoles and aglets round out the pair.
The mastermind WORLD x Converse Pro Leather can be seen above and purchased from atmos Tokyo now for ¥24,750 JPY (approximately $215 USD).
