For Spring/Summer 2022, British outerwear label Craghoppers is honing in on what the world has been through over the past few years and celebrating the various situations that have had to be explored as a result.
Titled “Sanctuary”, the collection looks at illustrating the sense of how the world created a place of solace within their respective homes even while a pandemic made most feel wholly unsettled. It celebrates the childhood nuance of creating a den where one can retreat and feel safe; a home within a home, a special place amidst tougher times.
In short, SS22 highlights the world living in urban sprawls yet feeling the need to create safe havens for those around us. The camping concept pays homage to the humble campsite and a future of being outdoors, something often taken for granted prior to the pandemic.
The collection itself is a continuation of its Fall/Winter 2021 “Dusk Arrival” collection, drawing inspiration from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s through oversized fits, vibrant hues and clashing prints. Footwear also arrives in the form of the Adflex boot and shoe duo, both of which boast Vibram soles and waterproof uppers.
Rounded out with a selection of Craghoppers camping gear including camping chairs, rugs and drinkware, the full SS22 collection is available to buy from the Craghoppers webstore now.
In other news, Stüssy is opening a new chapter store in Paris later this week.
